Terms of Service

These terms cover work performed by Tech2Door LLC (“Tech2Door”, “we”, “us”). Booking a visit means you agree to them. If anything here doesn't suit your situation, tell us before we come out and we'll sort it in writing.
What we do
We provide on-site technology services across Tucson and Pima County: networking and Wi-Fi, low-voltage cabling, camera and smart home installation and configuration, television mounting, and computer and device support.
We are insured. We do not install or service monitored burglar alarm systems, and we do not perform electrical, plumbing or structural work. Where a job requires a licensed trade, we'll tell you and stop rather than working past that line.
Quotes and pricing
- House calls are billed hourly with a one-hour minimum, at the rate published on our pricing page at the time of booking.
- A service call fee covers the trip and diagnosis, and is waived when you book the work with us on the same visit.
- “Starting at” prices assume a straightforward version of that job. If your situation needs more, we'll tell you the revised number and wait for your go-ahead before continuing.
- Larger projects are quoted in writing after a walkthrough. A written quote holds for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
- Parts and hardware are billed at cost plus a stated markup and itemised on your receipt.
Scheduling and access
We'll agree an arrival window and let you know if we're running late. Someone 18 or older needs to be present for the visit, and we need safe access to the areas we're working in — including attics and crawl spaces where the job requires it.
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. If we arrive for a booked appointment and can't get access, the service call fee applies.
Your property and your data
We take care in your home and we're insured. Before we work on a device, back up anything you can't afford to lose — we'll help you do that, and we'll recommend it before any work with a risk to data. Some repairs, particularly on failing drives, carry an inherent risk of data loss that no amount of care removes.
You confirm you own the property and equipment we're working on, or have permission from whoever does. For rentals and HOA properties, getting landlord or association approval for mounting and cabling is your responsibility.
Existing conditions
Homes hide things. Wiring behind a wall, a failing component, or pre-existing damage can surface during otherwise routine work. We aren't responsible for pre-existing conditions or for the failure of equipment that was already faulty, but we will always tell you what we found.
Our work
We stand behind our labour for 30 days: if something we did stops working as it should, tell us and we'll come back and put it right at no labour charge.
Hardware carries its manufacturer's warranty, not ours, and we'll help you make a claim. This guarantee doesn't cover later changes made by someone else, damage, or a service or provider outside our control — an internet outage or a manufacturer discontinuing a cloud service isn't something we can warrant.
If we can't solve your problem, you don't pay for the labour — only the service call.
Limits of liability
To the extent Arizona law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a visit is limited to the amount you paid for that visit. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost business, lost income or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Larger projects may require a deposit toward materials, which will be set out in your written quote.
